![]() Every year I photograph our amaryllis flowers, and every year I try to use a different technique or approach. This plant is a new acquisition, a deep red, and I used two methods of photography, both digital, in an attempt to bring out both the rich colour and the metallic texture of the petals. This uses an old Micro-Nikkor 105mm lens (the first version made, circa 1983) on my D700 body. The illuminant is Nikon AS-14 ring flash. | |
